This month, The Cowan Foundation presented the second installment of a $100,000 commitment to the Ottawa Region Cancer Centre. These funds will be directed towards their new Cancer Survivorship Centre known as The Maplesoft Centre. The Maplesoft Centre opened its doors in November of 2011 and offers a series of programs and workshops, designed to assist patients, and those closest to them, through every step of the cancer journey.
As a benefit of this donation, The Foundation will receive the honour of having the gazebo shown below named “The Cowan Foundation Gazebo”.
