The Cowan Foundation Helps Girl Guides of Canada Manage Risk through 2014 Holiday Card Program

In the spirit of giving during the holiday season, The Cowan Foundation annually selects an organization as a recipient of their Holiday Card Program.

This year, Girl Guides of Canada–Guides du Canada (GGC) has been selected to receive $50,000 in support of a new programming initiative focused on Threat Risk Assessments (TRA) and Managing Risk E-Learning Training for volunteers.

Since inception in 2004, the program has donated approximately $400,000 to selected Canadian charities.
