The Cowan Foundation Celebrates National Volunteer Week!

The Cowan Foundation would like to take a moment to acknowledge the importance of volunteerism, and to celebrate the individuals that contribute countless hours of their time helping others. The impact volunteerism has on our communities is enormous. It would be a challenge to find a Canadian whose life has not been affected by a volunteer in some way, big or small.

The Cowan Foundation is a proud supporter of volunteerism and uses our Community Volunteer Program as a vehicle to enable those employees at the Princeton Holdings group of companies that meet the eligibility requirements, (which include 50 hours of volunteer work in the program year), to donate $750 through The Cowan Foundation to their charity of choice. Since inception in 2003, the program has donated over $370,000 to employee directed charities. Click here to view the 2013 recipients of the Community Volunteer Program.

This week we are proud to recognize, celebrate and thank all volunteers across the nation for the vital contribution they make to our communities.
