Mary D’Alton Joins The Cowan Foundation as Executive Director

The Cowan Foundation is delighted to announce that Mary D’Alton will join The Foundation as Executive Director, effective January 2, 2019.

Mary is a highly respected leader in the hospitality industry and a passionate philanthropist. In her most recent role, she was the Executive Director at Nutrition for Learning, Waterloo Region. Currently, she also sits on the boards of many non-profit organizations. 

Some of her past board leadership roles include Wilfrid Laurier University, Greater KW Chamber of Commerce, KW Community Foundation, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Waterloo Economic Development Committee. 

During the transition, Mary will continue to work with Nutrition for Learning in an advisory capacity focusing on strategic initiatives.
