The Cowan Foundation Supports New Residential Hospice

On June 19th, partners and stakeholders from across the community met with representatives of Lisaard House for a special groundbreaking ceremony to launch the construction of a new residential hospice in southwest Kitchener that will help address the growing need for palliative care in Waterloo Region.

During the event, Jackie Hatherly-Martin, Chair of the Innisfree Capital Campaign Committee, acknowledged The Cowan Foundation along with other donors for their generous support and revealed that the campaign has raised more than $2 million towards its overall goal.
