The Cowan Foundation Supports New Muskoka Lakes Nursing Station with $150,000 Donation

On Monday, December 8th, The Cowan Foundation presented a cheque for $150,000 to the Muskoka Lakes Nursing Station Team. The presentation took place at the temporary nursing station located at the Port Carling library and included a site visit to the location where the permanent station will be built in the spring. The nursing station will include a full-time Nurse Practitioner, Administrative Assistant, and a collaborative association with a Physician. It will be a key component of the new Brock and Willa Wellness Centre in the Muskoka Lakes area that will also include a hospice and retirement residence.
